  1. How long have you been a blogger? I have been Blogging for 2 and half years
  2. At what point do you think you’ll stop blogging? I take it day by day it depends what is happening in my life away from the internet  and the time I get to post here.
  3. What is the best thing about blogging? The support within the blogging community for sure.
  4. What is the worst thing? What do you do to make it OK? At times you feel pressured because of post count it should be really about quality not quantity
  5. What do you think one should do to get a successful blog? A successful blog is where you get the personality of the person behind the blog
  6. How do you feel about the book blogger community? Lovely bunch of human beings
  7. How long does it take you to prepare? This post I am writing the night before it goes live. Like I said above it does depend on what happening in my life
  8. What do you wear when you write your blog post? I wish there was some kind of blogging outfit. I’m either in normal clothes or PJS

I have to many to name . Sorry that is boring but that’s the honest answer
Who is your favourite author?

Right now  it has to be Diana Gabaldon 

 

What genre do you prefer?

Historical fiction , Adult Fiction, some YA, Literary fiction, some  fantasy , some crime and some thrillers 

 

What is your favourite book series?

At the moment it has to be the outlander series. But of course Harry Potter has to be up high too 

What books did you hate reading in school?

I have always been a bookworm so can quite honestly say I cannot remember hating any

Peter and Jane books

Blogmas Day 2: Books on my Christmas list this year

The Following books I have genuinely put on my Christmas list year.

  1. Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier.

I have never read any du Maurier and that needs to change in 2017 hence I have put  this on this on my Christmas List.

2. Tidal Zone by Sarah Moss.

This has been doing the rounds on booktube and I am intrigued. I have never read any Sarah Moss although I do have ‘Wake’ on my TBR pile. So I hope to get to these both in 2017.

3. The Luminaries by Eleanor Catton.

This is a massive book  (832 pages) but this year I have got through some of bigger books on my TBR like ”The Gold Finch” and” Outlander”and now I don’t feel so scared to have this on my TBR pile so I have asked for this.

4. Career of Evil By Robert Galbraith.

I have read all the other books in the series and want to get to this before the Tv production is screened next year

5. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern.

Basically its about time I got round to this book. I have many times picked this up in a shop but never brought it.

I have not been tagged by anyone but as part of Blogmas I want to complete as many  Book tag blog posts as I can

 

1. Do you have a certain place at home for reading? 

In the winter its on the sofa or in bed. In the summer out in the garden where I can top up the tan.

2. Bookmark or random piece of paper? 

I bookmark everytime. I find random bits of paper can easily fall out and loose your place in the book. You cannot have that!

3. Can you just stop reading or do you have to stop after a chapter/ a certain amount of pages? 

I can just stop reading. Sometimes if I have time I challenge myself to get  to a certain chapter or a certain page in the book.

4. Do you eat or drink while reading?

Most of the times I will have a coffee white with no sugar.

5. Multitasking: Music or TV while reading?

I love listening to music while reading, I have actually found I love listening to classical music

6. One book at a time or several at once? 

I can read several at once so I can mood read

7. Reading at home or everywhere?

Whenever I can get time to read even if it is just 1 page I will read 

 
8. Reading out loud or silently in your head?

Silently in my head (it would be very annoying for those around me if I were to  read out loud).

NEVER!!!! – Whats the point in spending money or making the effort to go to the library to just do that

10. Breaking the spine or keeping it like new?

The spine always tends to break with me. If I have brought the book I want to enjoy reading it and not worry about how I hold the book

No but have had second books which people have and I love reading notes they have made feels like i’m buddy reading the book with someone
